You will first require a thorough consultation with our clinic doctor to ensure you are suitable for the treatment. If you are suitable for the treatment your Obagi NuDerm system will be ordered for you.  The doctor will explain how to use each product step by step, It’s a simple 5 minute routine morning and evening. The active ingredients in the products restrain the tyrosinase’s activity so that it doesn’t convert into melanin; responsible for skin darkening. Collagen production is also kick started so you will notice tighter firmer skin. The protocol will need to be continue for a minimum of 3 months.

This home system is suitable for anybody who suffers from Ageing skin with pigmentation, brown marks, Melasma and sun damage and convenient for those who don’t want regular in clinic peels.

You will feel no pain during your treatment although you may feel slight stinging sensation when you use your tretinoin which can last up to 6 weeks.

You will notice significant results within 4 months of using your Obagi NuDerm system and the results will continue over the next few months.

We normally recommend 1 Obagi NuDerm System to correct your skin and give you significant improvement but with certain stubborn skin conditions such as Melasma we recommend you continue with a second course of Obagi NuDerm System.

For the first 6 weeks you will have redness and mild peeling of the skin which is normal as your skin gets used to the active ingredients. You can use the Obagi Hydrate moisturizer to combat this and is not noticeable with cover up. After 6 weeks your skin redness ad peeling will settle down.
